“To use the arts expressively means going into our inner realms to discover feelings and to express them through visual art, movement, sound, writing, or drama. This process fosters release, self-understanding, insight and awakens creativity and transpersonal states of consciousness.”

SERVICES
INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
(coming soon)
Individual sessions are a safe and non-judgemental space for creative exploration.

A session goes for 1 hour with a qualified Art Therapist.

For more information about the individual sessions, like why you might come to an individual session, please click on the round icon above.
For an idea about what a typical session might look like, please click on the blue icon in the previous section titled 'What does a typical session look like?'. Please keep in mind, this depends on the client and their aims for the session.

These sessions are not about the art therapist interpreting the artwork that is made and telling the client what it means, but exploring together the process of making the artwork and what it means to the client.

Please contact me with any questions or to enquire about a session.

WORKSHOPS
Workshops are for groups of anywhere up to 10 people (more for corporate workshops). Workshops are held in a warm, friendly and non-judgemental environment and run by a qualified art therapist.
The workshops are an opportunity to explore your inner world and think deeply about a variety of topics. The artworks are made individually, with the opportunity to share and discuss the topic of the session with the group. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you like.

I run both topical one off workshops and short series of workshops that build off each session.

The workshops I run include topical open workshops, women's workshops, kids workshops and corporate workshops. Click on the above icon for more information,

To see the list of upcoming workshops and to book, click on the Workshops tab on the top navigation bar. For corporate workshops, please get in contact via the contact box or email.

SMALL GROUPS
(coming soon)
The small groups are a friendly and non-judgemental place for groups of people with shared experience to express their joys, frustrations and feelings through the creative process. The aim of these groups is to allow space for self expression and discovery while fostering fellowship through shared experience. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you like.
The groups occur monthly, and each week a different prompt will help direct the session. For more information, click on the round icon at the top of this box. For an idea about what a typical session might look like, please click on the blue icon in the previous section titled 'What does a typical session look like?'

To find out more about the groups available or to book a spot, please head to the Workshops tab on the top navigation bar.

ABOUT ME
I love to help people. I have always known that this is part of who I am. Art Therapy allows me to combine two things that I love - art and helping. I studied a 2 year Masters of Art Therapy at Western Sydney University and am a member of ANZACATA, the professional peak body for Art Therapists in Australia. Through my study I have gained experience working with children, adults, seniors and people in Aged Care Facilities. These experiences have led me to view my practice through a person-centred framework. This doesn't mean that I will interpret your work and tell you what it means. It does mean that I will journey with you to discover what meaning your artwork holds for you. My training does not make me the expert on your life, that is your role. My role is to facilitate change and healing through the creative process.

The creative process can reveal so much about what we hold inside. The non-verbal nature of Art Therapy means it can be helpful in ways that traditional therapy cannot. It can be easier to draw what is going on rather than talk about it out loud. Instead of talking in circles, you can draw circles and discover new possibilities.
Art Therapy can help foster healing and self-discovery for anyone, of any age, at any stage of life. I would love to chat with you about how Art Therapy could benefit you.
